We deliver Monday through Friday, except holidays, weather permitting, and most Saturdays. We deliver on Sundays by special request only. You must call your order in to arrange for and guarantee a Sunday or Holiday delivery. Otherwise, orders placed for delivery on a holiday or Sunday may be delivered on the prior or next normal available business day.
Orders which are delayed by weather and resulting unsafe delivery conditions will be delivered on the first available delivery date on which road and weather conditions are safe for delivery to the address given. Orders which specifically request delivery during inclement weather will be charged an appropriate special delivery charge based on time, mileage, and degree of difficulty involved in making the delivery as requested. Delivery during inclement weather conditions is entirely at our discretion based on our assessment of the ability to do so safely. If we do not feel that it can safely be made on the date requested, delivery will be made on the first available delivery date on which we believe it is safe to do so.
Regular Delivery Hours are usually from 10am until 5pm Monday through Friday and 10am until 2pm Saturday. Our regular delivery charge does not allow for delivery by appointment. Insofar as possible, we will attempt to honor requests for specific delivery times, but delivery times cannot be guaranteed. If you need a guaranteed exact delivery time, please call for availability and pricing.
Special Deliveries may be available after hours or on Sundays or during some holidays, subject to availability. A Special Delivery Charge may apply to after hours and holiday deliveries.
A restocking fee will apply to all items which cannot be delivered for any reason. This includes situations where the recipient is not home and cannot be contacted by phone or otherwise. The fee will be the amount of the original delivery charge plus no less than 50% of the arrangement PROVIDED THAT we are able to resell the arrangement for value on the same day. If we are not able to redeliver or resell the arrangement for full value on the same day, the restocking fee will be 100% of the arrangement PLUS the fee for the unsuccessful delivery attempt. Flowers are perishable items and we cannot sell old flowers to our customers.
Delivery Service Charges, for our Local Delivery Area, which you will be charged if you order online or by phone, are listed below. Except for applicable sales taxes, there will be no other additional charges to the total amount of your order unless we otherwise notify you.
Our on-line computer determines delivery charges by zip code only. In most cases, the proper zip code will show the proper delivery and handling charge at checkout. Where it doesn't, we will correct to the amount shown below and attempt to notify you by e-mail before we charge you. Please include a valid e-mail address and/or telephone number where you can be reached so that we may contact you concerning your delivery if we need to. We accept no responsibility for not notifying you of a price change if you do not answer at the number given or respond to the e-mail address given before the time the delivery is sent out.

In addition to local deliveries, we can usually arrange same day delivery of our products to most locations in the US and Canada. We can usually arrange for International Deliveries, too. International Deliveries usually require one to four days for delivery, depending on location. Sale Prices and Exclusive Items are not available for delivery to areas outside of our Local Delivery Area.
You may place orders on-line for In Store Pickup at our Boone, NC store. Simply enter "Boone Store" for the Delivery Address and "00000" for the Delivery Zip Code to avoid paying a full delivery charge. You will only be charged our standard 4.95 handling and processing fee for instore pickup. No other fees will apply other than applicable taxes.. Enter your requested Pickup Time in Special Instructions. Unless you are otherwise notified, your order will be waiting for you when you arrive. In store pickups are by appointment only. You must pick up your order within 30 minutes of your requested time. If you cannot pick it up within this time, you must call us. Orders not picked up within 30 minutes of the scheduled time may be charged our standard $10.95 delivery charge and you will have to reschedule your appointment unless you have called to let us know that you cannot be there at your scheduled time.
Service to all campus and surrounding areas of Appalachian State University in Boone and Lees McRae College in Banner Elk is available daily. Please include a dorm or building name and room number for campus deliveries. We cannot deliver to a campus PO box. We also need a room telephone number and/or a cell phone number for the recipient for deliveries to campus dormitories. Campus security systems do not allow our drivers in the building without these numbers.
Special request service is available, when time and road and weather conditions permit, from our store to the communities of Beech Mountain, Deep Gap, Fleetwood, Foscoe, Land Harbor, Seven Devils, Sugar Grove, Sugar Mountain, Newland, Todd, Valle Crucis, Vilas, and Zionville, NC. You may wish to call to confirm availability of Special Request Service. If you order online for delivery to a Special Request Area, we will notify you if delivery to that area is not available at the time requested.
Complete addresses and phone numbers help deliveries arrive on time. We cannot deliver to a post office box. We must have a current street or road name and address along with any applicable building or apartment names and numbers for successful delivery. We require telephone numbers for the recipient so that we can arrange for redelivery if they are not home or find them if the delivery information you give is outdated or incorrect.
Redelivery attempts caused by failure to include correct information required for delivery will result in additional charges for redelivery as will unsuccessful attempts to deliver to an address where no one is home to receive the delivery at the delivery time requested unless you have given us permission to leave the delivery in a safe place if no one is at home. You should place that permission, if you wish, in “Special Instructions”.
Your order is custom prepared to your request. You will be charged for undeliverable orders which cannot be delivered because of incorrect addresses. You will be charged for undeliverable orders which cannot be delivered because no one was at the specified address to receive the delivery on the delivery date requested unless you have given us permission to leave the item and there is a safe place to leave it and weather conditions permit leaving it. You may give us such permission while ordering by phone or including it in "Special Instructions" if ordering on line.
Rural orders require a correct phone number which will be answered by the recipient. We call before delivering all rural orders to schedule a time when the order can be safely received by the recipient unless you have given us permission to leave the item if the recipient is not at the address specified. You may give us such permission while ordering by phone or including it in "Special Instructions" if ordering on line. You will be charged for orders which have been custom prepared at your request if we are unable to contact a rural recipient at the phone number given by you to arrange a timely delivery.
A timely delivery is defined as one which can be successfully made within the time frame given by you or within the time frame of the holiday or event which it is for. Timeliness expires on all deliveries once the reasonable life of the perishable item ordered and prepared has expired and reasonable attempts to contact or deliver, as applicable and heretofore addressed, have failed..
We try to have all of the products shown on our site available for delivery to our local delivery area. We may occasionally experience a temporary shortage of a product. Some products may not be available for delivery to areas outside of our delivery area. In cases where the requested product is not available, we will substitute with a product of equal or greater value which is as similar as possible to the product ordered.
Foreign deliveries will usually result in an extra charge for placement and adjustment for the currency exchange in some areas. As it is impossible to include all possible scenarios, we will notify you by e-mail of your final charge before we charge your credit card. You must reply to our e-mail confirming your acceptance of these charges before your order will be processed.
As our retail stores and most of our affiliate florists are closed on Sundays and holidays, orders placed for an area where no Sunday or holiday delivery is available will be delivered on the next business day. You may wish to e-mail or call us directly to verify that delivery to the address requested is available on the date you require if it falls on a weekend or holiday.
We pride ourselves on prompt, efficient and personalized service that you can count on to meet all your floral needs. We do not use outside delivery services or other florists to prepare and deliver to our High Country Customers.
